Ronke is the Founder of cosmetics and skincare company EMI and BEN that she runs together with her brother. The business was set up in 2009 and currently has five lines: ‘little people’, ‘mama’s bump’, ‘grown ups’. ‘raw shea’ and ‘extra raw shea’.

 

Ronke is currently working to add lip balms and additional body butters to her product range. The brand has received celebrity endorsement, counting Myleene Klass and Angelica Brown amongst its clients. International interest is also growing with companies as far away as Australia being in talks with Ronke about importing the product down under.

 

Besides trading online, Emi and Ben also have regular stalls at local markets around the UK (particularly in Greater London), including the weekly market in Greenwich as well as the monthly Thames Market in Kingston.
