Matt Forrest

Cash is the life blood of your business and the session will give 10 Steps to Excellent Cash Management. Matt draws on his experience as a chartered accountant, time in Corporate Recovery in turning round distressed businesses and his time running business units and running the Commercial team for Sage, a FTSE 100 company, to give a personal insight into making sure your cash management gets the royal treatment.

 

Matt’s role within Sage UK Ltd is Head of Service and Renewals having just left his previous role as Head of Commercial Marketing (Small Business Division).  He has worked at Sage UK for 7 years and diversified from Head of TAS Software at Sage, UK Development Manager and Financial Projects Accountant.

 

Prior to Sage, Matt has worked as Corporate Recovery Assistant Manager for KPMG llp managing on site trading of insolvent businesses negotiating and establishing relationships with suppliers and customers in challenging circumstances. He was also audit assistant dealing with accounts audit and preparation for a range of clients from listed PLC to small owner managed and from a variety of industries from energy to baking.

 

Matt initially started out in life as a Geography teacher! So, if you’re wondering where a certain place in the world is, you can always test him on his capital cities.
